3. Capturing data on the website

Every time you access our website, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the calling computer.

The following data are collected:

  • Connection data of the requesting computer

  • The pages you visit with us
  • Date and duration of your visit

The data is also stored in the logfiles of our system. We do not store this data together nor any other personal data of the user.

In principle, we only collect and use personal data of our users, as far as this is necessary for the provision of a functional website as well as our content and services. The collection and use of personal data of our users is carried out only upon the provision of consent of the user.

(1) We are currently using the following Social-Media plug-ins: Instagram Feed. The plug-in is developed by Smash Balloon LLC in the United States (https://smashballoon.com/)(“Provider”) and is offered as a WordPress plug-in or as a standalone PHP plug-in. This plugin allows us to bundle Newsfeeds of our Instagram accounts an show them on our websites. In addition, a Follow button is located at the end of the Feed, with which other accounts can be followed. With Instagram plugins we use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data will be passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You will recognize the provider of the plug-in by the notification on the box by its initial letter or logo. We offer you the possibility to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the selected field and activate it, the plug-in provider will be informed that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offer. The activation of the plug-in means that your personal data is transferred to the respective plug-in provider and is stored there (in case of American providers in the USA). Since the plug-in provider performs the data collection specifically by the use of cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies before you click on the grayed-out box via the security settings of your browser.

(2) We do not have any influence on the data collected or the processing activity, nor are we aware of the full scope of the data collection, the purposes of the processing or the storage timeframes. We also do not have any information with respect to the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.

  • For online reservations of tables in our restaurant we use the services of OpenTable, for residents of Germany data is processed by the OpenTable GmbH, Zeil 109, Frankfurt 60313. Opentable is displayed in a frame on our website, but the data is transmitted to Opentable. We use this reservation tool to offer our guests the possibility to book tables with us online. We collect the data from Opentable which are necessary for online reservation. In addition, we also collect data such as preferences which you communicate to Opentable voluntarily. We collect these data on the basis of our economic interest to accept online reservations due to Art 6 Abs 1 lit F) DSGVO.
